Ecuador Adventure

...A personal adventure to meet the little boy I've been sponsoring in Ecuador for several years, that also turned into a mission trip to bring aid to women and children at El Inca women's prison in Ecuador's capital city of Quito! Anyone seen my passport?

OK, I leave a week from tomorrow, and I'm still awaiting my passport in the mail. I'm not nervous... really!!! Meanwhile, I practice my basic Spanish daily with the CD's I listen to whenever I'm out and about in the car.

Special thanks go out to those who have heard of the "mission" part of my trip and have given so eagerly from their own pockets to help to buy needed supplies for the women and children of the El Inca Prison in Quito, Ecuador! Thanks, also, to the following...

...Jackie, who crocheted a beautiful baby blanket for some special infant at the prison!
...Susan, who collected a tidy little bundle from assorted clients of hers to help with my travel costs!
...My church family, whose generous contributions will be so much appreciated in so many ways!
...St. Vincent de Paul Store, for the great deal on all the children's clothes I picked up there for the children of El Inca!
...Snyder's Pharmacy, for their generous donation of a care package for the women inmates!
