Drat! Passport didn't arrive!

No time to be wordy... passport didn't arrive this a.m., so tracked it down with USPS. Drove 200 miles round trip to intercept it, raced to airport to try to catch flight, and just missed it! Doggone! So Northwest was good enough to simply rebook me for tomorrow, same flight. Had to contact cheaptickets.com to reschedule my flight from Miami to Ecuador for a day later, too (another airline). All worked out OK, plans are still on ... just going a day later than expected.

Guess I wasn't meant to be on that flight out today. Sigh.
