Ecuador Adventure

...A personal adventure to meet the little boy I've been sponsoring in Ecuador for several years, that also turned into a mission trip to bring aid to women and children at El Inca women's prison in Ecuador's capital city of Quito! Passport on its way!

I'm not nervous, I'm not nervous, I'm not nervous...

The passport was processed and mailed via Express Mail yesterday, and it didn't come today. No surprise there, as we're too far in the boonies to even have the USPS guarantee anything overnight. But I'm SURE it'll come Monday morning.

I'm just about all packed and ready to go... one big duffle bag full of children's clothes and such for the children at El Inca, another suitcase being stuffed with things for the women and gifts for Dany and his family, and my carry-on being filled with my camera equipment. My small backpack (carry-on "purse") contains my toiletries and a couple changes of clothes -- the only personal belongings I'm bringing! I'll be packing a few sandwiches and energy bars and snacks for travel, too.

Going over lists, checking them twice, taking care of all the last-minute things (hopefully!), and trying not to stress-out too much!

Thanks again to all for your prayers, good wishes and generosity!

To be continued...
